New Jersey Couple Finds the Perfect Van for their Travels at Runde Chevrolet

Mullen Van

Jim and Angie Mullen, of Mays Landing, New Jersey, flew in to pick up their 2017 Chevrolet Express 12-passenger van from Runde Chevrolet in East Dubuque!

The couple worked with nine dealers in their area, but none had a van with the features they were looking for.

“This van had all the options I wanted, which was basically all the options,” Jim said. “It had the locking differential, a cold weather package, and a six-way power seat, which comes in handy since Angie is a much shorter person than I am.”

They appreciated Runde Auto Group’s transparent and understandable sales process, along with salesperson Tim Loso’s helpfulness along the way.

“He was very easy to work with and even got us an interest rate that was better than our bank got us,” Angie said.

Jim added: “Out of the nine dealers we were working with, Tim was the only one who when I asked for RPO codes and a build sheet, he immediately sent those over to me. I didn’t have to wait or explain — he sent them right away.”

The couple plans to hook the Express van up to their RV and use it for traveling with friends and family, including their four grandchildren. In September, they have a trip planned from New Jersey to Oregon.

This was their first time visiting the Dubuque area.

“Everyone has been really great to work with here,” Jim said.

Congratulations and thank you for your business, Jim and Angie!

Chevrolet is bringing back the much-loved Blazer, but with a dramatically different look.

“The Blazer has attitude,” says John Cafaro, executive director of Global Chevrolet Chevrolet-Blazer-2019-1280-08Design, in a press release. “It looks commanding on the road, while fulfilling the promise of versatility at the heart of every Chevy crossover and SUV.”

The five-passenger Blazer is larger than the Equinox and smaller than the Traverse, offering consumers a mid-size choice in Chevrolet SUVs.

Offered in models ranging from sporty RS to upper-level Premier, the vehicle will offer unique design elements on each model to appeal to a variety of drivers.

Chevrolet-Blazer-2019-1280-04“The Chevrolet Blazer is more than just good looks,” says Waqar Hashim, Blazer chief engineer, in a press release. “Both the Ecotec 2.5L four-cylinder engine and 3.6L V6 engine are paired to Chevrolet’s nine-speed automatic transmission, providing drivers a great balance between performance and efficiency.”

With the 3.6L V6 engine, max trailering is estimated to be 4,500 pounds.

Available on 3.6L engine models, Hitch Guidance aids in aligning the Blazer’s hitch to a trailer by showing the center line on the rear vision camera. Another available option is Hitch View, which offers a top-down view to help hitch a trailer without a second person to assist.

Inside, the 2019 Blazer features a range of convenience and comfort features. The vehicle offersChevrolet-Blazer-2019-1280-05 an electronic-locking glove box for extra storage security. It is locked using the vehicle’s Valet Mode, accessible through the Settings menu.

Its automatic heated steering wheel and automatic heated/ventilated front seats work with Remote Start and/or automatic climate controls to automatically adjust temperature.

Before you get in, you can use the key fob to activate comfort-open windows, which allows all windows to roll down to let heat escape before occupants enter the vehicle.

Wireless charging and six USB ports are available, and so is a panoramic dual-pane power sunroof. The vehicle offers cargo space of up to 64.2 cubic feet with the second row seats folded flat.
