We are excited to announce that Kelley Blue Book has named the 2018 Chevrolet Impala, the 2018 Ford F-150 and the 2018 Ford Expedition as Best Buys for 2018!

The Best Buy awards choose the best value vehicles in 12 categories, as well as an overall winner. They compare features like pricing, cost to own, use-ability, consumer reviews, and more.

This is the fourth year in a row that the Chevrolet Impala was named the best full-size sedan by Kelley Blue Book! You can get yours at Runde Chevrolet in East Dubuque, IL or Runde Chevrolet Buick GMC in Platteville, WI!

“Whether it’s a matter of price, size, style or features, the 2018 Impala will give you 2018_chevrolet_impala_sedan_premier_fq_oem_4_1280.jpgsomething to appreciate every day you own it,” Kelley Blue Book noted in its announcement. “And speaking of owning it, in addition to collecting KBB’s Best Buy Award for full-size cars, last year’s Impala took home our 5-Year Cost-to-Own Award in the full-size-car category for its sixth straight season.”

This is also the fourth year in a row that the Ford F-150 has won the best truck category! Take one for a test drive at Runde Ford Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Manchester, IA.

Then there’s adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, accident detection and avoidance, lane keeping assist, and all the safety and convenience features you’d expect in a nicely equipped luxury sedan. Along with its excellent reliability and resale value, there’s no question that the 2018 Ford F-150 earns its Best Buy honor.”

The re-designed 2018 Ford Expedition won the full-size SUV/Crossover category.

“With its elevated seating position helping deliver excellent visibility, the Expedition 2018-Ford-Expedition-front-three-quarter-in-motion-02-e1486485894126-1.jpgdrives like a smaller vehicle than its large footprint would lead you to believe,” Kelley Blue Book said. “Thanks to its independent rear suspension, it also has a decidedly non-truck feel to its ride. A host of driver assists, including blind spot warning and lane keeping assist, make it easy to keep the Expedition on track.”

Kelley Blue Book is a longtime trusted resource for helping consumers research, price and shop for vehicles.

Runde’s Salesmanship and Service Prove to be the Glass Slipper as The Knippers pick out a Hipper new Ride.

Knipper Marion IowaVictoria Thiede-Knipper and David Knipper purchased a Chrysler Town & Country van from Runde Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep about 3 years ago and they have been very satisfied with the van since that time.  So when they recently found themselves in need of a new truck, they contacted Runde’s in Manchester again.   They were put in touch with Sean Dailey in the Ford Sales Department and Sean was able provide them with a quick and easy transaction as he helped them find their new F-150 crew cab truck.   In Victoria’s own words, “Our experience with Runde’s was one of the best expriences we have ever had in purchasing this vehicle.”  Victoria was so pleased with exerything that she agreed to put her testimonial out there for the whole world to see.

What Can’t you do with an Ipod these Days?

From playing games, to converting practically any measurement you need at the click of a button. The new spawn of smart phones and gadgets are, needless to say, impressive. ‘But what’s next?’ you may be asking yourself as you scroll through the thousands and thousands of apps available from the Apple and Verizon store.

Well, I have the answer for you, and is it oh-soooo-sweet. Imagine waking up mid-winter to start your day. It’s so cold outside, the last thing you look forward to is feeling your freezing hair rub against your skin on the drive to work. Fear no more, as the latest and greatest thing for your phone since being able to put 50 Cent’s “Candy Shop” as a customizable ringtone, is (nearly) here with GM and OnStar’s Volt  Mobile Apps .

With this new app, you are able to control several things on your Volt straight from your phone, including: remote control start, lock and unlock, keep track of battery charge and electric  range, schedule when to charge the Volt and when to stop, email or text message alerts when you forget to charge the Volt, and much more. Now you can wake up, check your voice-mail for 18-minute drunk dial calls from last night, then start your car so it will be warm by the time you are ready… no more having to worry about your freezing hair giving you mini cuts on your neck.  You won’t even have to look for your car keys and remote key fob (which are probably attached to your house keys and are hanging from the lock on the door knob of your house’s front door).

To use the app you must be subscribed to OnStar, which, in addition to this great app, has several useful features such as: Automatic Crash Response, Emergency Services, Remote Door Unlock, Roadside Assistance, Crisis Assist, OnStar Turn-by-Turn Navigation, Hands Free Calling and OnStar Vehicle Diagnostics.

The official app will be released when the Volt comes out.  In the meantime, OnStar has released a demo of the app you can play around with here: OnStarMobileDemo.com
