Credité Velo – Trek Team Update!

Fans of Credité Velo – Trek! We have updates on the team’s progress and upcoming events! Check out the short conversation and information provided by the team’s General Manager, David Paquette below:

The Credité Velo – Trek team recently ended a short break from racing in order to recover from the racing and travel that was put in in April. The first race coming off the break was in Burlington, IA on Saturday at what many consider one of the hardest races in the midwest; The Snake Alley Criterium.

Snake Alley is part of a Memorial Day Weekend Racing series that took place this past weekend and Memorial Day in Burlington, Muscatine and Davenport. Our team competed in 3 high caliber criteriums on Saturday, Sunday and Memorial Day Monday. On Saturday at the Snake Alley Criterium, Andrew Buntz had an impressive race to place 16th.

The guys are going to a National Criterium Calendar event in Glencoe, IL this week. The race will take place on Saturday but the team is heading over early to be a part of an after school program in which the kids will be able to engage with the riders and learn a little bit about them and the sport.

Following Glencoe, the guys will have a couple days of rest before they begin the largest racing block of the season. They will be heading to Tulsa, OK for the 3-day Tulsa Tough racing series, then up to the Twin Cities for the 5-day North Star Grand Prix stage race, and immediately over to Milwaukee, WI to begin an 11-day series called the Tour of America’s Dairyland.

These guys have a busy schedule and are giving it their all! If you are able to attend any of the team’s races or events, be sure to give them all the cheer and support you can!
