Meet Dave Frett of Runde Chevrolet

The service department at our East Dubuque store can have a pretty hectic schedule, but Dave was nice enough to talk with me for a few minutes so I, and all of you, can get to know him a little better.  Ron (who also works in the service department) informed me that if we want the ‘true’ answers to the questions, we can ask him at a later time. Ha!

Runde Auto Chat: What does your job entail at Runde Auto Group and how long have you been with them?

Dave Frett: I’m a service advisor. I set appointments, make sure jobs get done, complete paperwork, make sure our customers are more than satisfied with our work, and test-drive all the vehicles after the service is done.

RAC: What do you like most about working at Runde’s?

DF: There is something new everyday, and I’m always learning.

RAC: If you could drive any car for a week, what would it be?

DF: Silverado 2500HD (Which Ron informed me, is in fact, what he currently drives…He just wants a newer one.)

RAC: What are your hobbies?

DF: Farming and spending time with my family

RAC: Where do you live? Wife? Kids?

DF: I live in Bellevue with my wife, Julie, and our three daughters; 16, 13, and 11 years old.

RAC: Do you have a favorite restaurant in the area?

DF: Kalmes in St. Donatus. They have excellent fried chicken and prime rib.

Dave has worked for Runde Chevrolet for about a year and a half now, although he has had many, many years of experience working as a automotive service advisor.  We were very lucky when he agreed to join the Runde team and we’re glad to have him around.  Dave is the kind of guy who can have the worst day in the whole world, but you’d never know it to look at him.  Whether it’s 6am or 6pm, Dave always seems to be in a great mood and that’s part of the reason why he is one of the best in the business when it comes to exceeding customer expectations!
