Back in October we posted news of a GM sponsored national contest to name the new color of the Chevrolet Volt. Well, the contest is over and we have a new color to add to the palette – Viridian Joule. The winner of the contest, 40-year-old David Thomas of Sanford, Florida, explain:

I looked at the photo of the Volt on the contest web site and thought it looked emerald in color, which led to jewel and then to an alternate yet appropriate play on that word – joule.

Look out for the Volt and Viridian Joule coming to Runde’s in the near future!
