We had an interesting gift given to us Friday by Don Steinhoff – driver for Runde’s. Coming in to pick up a vehicle, Don shared with us a HUGE Kohlrabi that he grew before he headed out.

We were all amazed by how big the thing was, and even more surprising was how delicious it was!

Don starts these from seed under a grow light and they plant about 45 of them each year.

Don said they give about 42-43 away each year and Runde Chevrolet was one of the lucky recipients this year!
